Screen too far to the left of the monitor

Hi all, 

I have a summer 2001 iMac (last model before the new LCD ones) and the
screen is a little too far to the left off the edge of the monitor. Is
there anyway to adjust this like there is in Mac OS9/X?

Also, what is the best monitor and video card options for this machine?

Any help would be appreciated.
