Switching between

I can not figure out how to launch applications from KDE that are Gnome 
applications and this is why I would like to be able to switch.  You 
are right about the session though, but for me the only options for 
this are Last, Failsafe, Default, and KDE.  I do not have Gnome as an 
option.  I think when I loaded it I did the Workstation and made KDE my 
default login.  I know that their are Gnome folders so Gnome must be 
loaded.
