How do I compile GAIM?

yes, I think it is usually sage to delete the old versions before
compiling new ones. No need to with GAIM as the ./configure script is
well done enough... You can keep all the sources/src.rpm you want and
you can delete them as well. I throw them on a JAZ disk when free disk
room is getting tight.
