Friends:

I love a good flame war as well as the next guy (it's a Wednesday night, 
nothing on the tube, so I pop open a cold one and kick back to enjoy the 
warmth), but it is *soooooo* off topic for this list.

The Yellow Dog Linux lists (both the Newbie list and the General 
Discussion list) have a well-deserved reputation for civility, 
friendliness, and low noise content. Let's not mess up that reputation.

We all have lots to say, defending YDL's strengths, complaining about 
its weaknesses, and wondering why the Newbie list is still not being 
archived. However, archived or not, why don't we move the rest of this 
discussion to private e-mail, okay?
