Yaboot and 10.3 Panther

Hello  all,

I have recently installed OSX 10.3 - Panther.

When my powerbook boots up, the yaboot loader doesn't appear anymore.

To boot into Linux, I now have to hold down the option key at startup to
show all availiable bootable volumes,  select my linux partition, and then
proceed.

Then, the Yaboot loader appears as normal.

So either how do I disable Yaboot in order to remove another process - so I
just hold option and click on the volume that I want to boot from, i.e. the
Linux partition and boot?

Or preferably..

How do I make yaboot appear at startup once more?
