XMMS freezes, what gives?

Dear Mr. Scow:
I used to be a real fan of xmms. Until I discovered something called
xine and one of its audio visual tricks called "goom" which adjusts to
music. This particular feature set is available as an xmms plug-in but
right now only Windows users are allowed to enjoy it. xine has no such
discriminations and it is just GREAT...REALLY GREAT!

I'm sounding a bit like Joan Kusac's commercial rendition of a user
writing regarding a new TV service...my apologies. But try
xine...REALLY. You won't have to activate plugins for this or that you
can just run the thing, assign it a launch icon and enjoy the show!
Goom! YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE IT! YOU'LL BE IN AWE WHAT XINE and GOOM DO
WITH HOLST'S PLANETS! SEALS AND CROFTS...JOHN LEE HOOKER...JEFFERSON
AIRPLANE!!! HENDRIX.....ALICE COLTRANE....NOEL POINTER...DEAR GOD I'VE
DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN!

Just Kidding...but not far from the truth...

do yum search xine* and when that is over do yum install xine*; remember
the star or you are likely to miss collecting all the packages. I
really don't think I have a reason to watch TV again....
