OO 1.1.2 Installation

The instructions for installing OO are clearly stated within the
OpenOffice.org website, including information and precise instructions
for installation procedures so that multiple users can have access to
it.  

It sound likes you may better informed by consulting them and/or their
email lists for exactly this purpose.  

I cannot speak for all here, but this mailing list is much more general
than what you seek and although OpenOffice is available for OS X and
YDL, your query is the first one I've come across in months addressing
OpenOffice.  Still you may get lucky here....even so, the details are
with the openoffice.org website.  In fact I was reading exactly the
solution to your question on their website last night just about the
time you sent in your query to this list!
