I think I just overcame a simular situation. I haven't seen all the post for 
this problem. But if I could suggest that you try this 

/sbin/service iptables stop [ENTER]
startmol -X [ENTER] 

I appologize if this has already been suggested or if I misunderstood your 
problem.
