use the 'whereis' command. Its used to locate a binary (executable)
]$ whereis superkaramba [enter]
whereis: /its/here!
NOTE: if you compiled off a tarball, you might have to invoke it as
./superkaramba. Always go with src.rpm files when available as they
will generate a ppc.rpm you could backup and share.. Plus, as a rule
of thumb, compiling a src.rpm is done with a single command:
]# su -c 'rpmbuild --rebuild packagename.src.rpm' [enter]
