Konqueror menu

I'm running the KDE desktop on YDL 3.1 on a PowerBook
G3 and mistakenly clicked on the File Menu option on
the Konqueror file manager, which caused the word menu
to
disappear.  The problem is the only instructions I can
find to get it back say to "right-click" on the
toolbar area.  The Powerbook of course has no
right-click, the alt-click doesn't seem to be
interpreted as a right-click and there is no way to
attach any
other mouse.  I need Konqueror's menus to I can change
file permissions and so forth without deciphering the
chmod syntax.  Is there any help for this out there?
