clock problem

For some reason my clock (in YDL 4.0.1) refuses to change from UTC time to CST 
(my time zone).  I followed the how-to directions on the YDL site for setting 
the hardware and YDL clocks, but still no success so far.  I can view my 
local time zone OK (with the right-click clock menu), but the clock always 
keeps going back to UTC.  Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?
