PCI ATA controller cards

Does anyone have experience with PCI ATA controller cards using YDL or Linux 
in general?  I have a SIIG UltraATA 133/100 Pro and I haven't found much 
information online about it, other than the fact that it won't work at all on 
my dual G4 Quicksilver.

Any recommendations on ATA controller cards that will work under Linux?  It 
would be helpful if I could find something that would also be compatible with 
the dual G4s.
