I just looked through the YDL board archives and it seems to me that
YDL 4.1 and the OldWorld Macs are simply not meant to be.

How reliable is freshrpms at introducing patches for the more
security-sensitive components of YDL 4.0 (i.e. web and network
services)?

The reason I ask is that I'm contemplating a rebuild of my server to
fix up some mistakes I made when I created it two years ago.

I am now wondering if I should move over to Ubuntu 6.06 server since
its road map calls for a long support life for security patches (the
big drawback to moving to Ubuntu/Debian would be that I've got the
server humming along nicely under Fedora/YDL and I'm sure there are
many irritating quirks that won't be the same... plus, there's the old
adage, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it').
