I installed YDL with an old vga monitor on my LACIE firewire disk. It
works fine with this monitor. But if I use my Sony SDM-HS74P, it turns
black again.

How to do so? I use "alt", I chose Y, What do I have to make
thereafter? Where is the point, on which this

is to happen? I do not know how to boot as root with YDL.
