PS3 Compile performance

Hello,

	I'm searching for information about compile performance on PS3/yellowdog, 
such as how much time is required to compile a linux kernel or big things 
such as open-office or firefox. I heard that PS3 may be compared to a P4 
2.5Ghz in term of performance, is it also true for compilation ?
