HI,
I am in the phase to try to get the needed HW to install YD, I want to purchase a Swedish Logitech keyboard but it is not yet available, once it becomes available, I will start installation, the item I also assume I need, is some storage device to backup the PS3 before starting the installation?

How much in GB has to be backed up before starting installation complete PS3 HD, or just a portion?

Will a USB based HD do, and what minimum size do I need?

I am not a game fan, and have heard that two options for formatting the PS3 is available, but is it possible to access additional USB or net based HD to store or run applications from utilizing the YD OS once the YD is installed?

IF yes, is it then advisable to to make the YD having the small portion, or should the PS3 games have the smallest? I intend to most use the PS3 to stream movies, but I have a daughter, that is 8 years, and she might be a game fan in the future. Does anyone have any advice?

The PS3 is region 2, is there any way to pas this once I have YD installed?

Can I launch normal DVD's from the YD, and pas the region 2 check, or what sets the region settings for the device?

Kind Regards
M.Preiss
