Yes but I thought this was the big "bug-fix" release in preparation for
starting development of the 3.) branch.

That doesn't sound good. But on the other hand, kmail is acting up for me
(actually hanging when checking mail as if it never received a reply from the
network from its pop3 query. I am constantly having to kill the kio_pop3
process and exit out of kmail (killing it also) or sit waiting an enormous
time just to say it has timed out and can't reach the destination (all the
while I am happy pinging that pop3 server!).

I grabbed the RedHat 7.1 rpms and tried to rpm --rebuild the qt src rpm but
it barfed and said it wants special libmng devel and static rpms.

I then grabbed the libmng*src.rpm and tried a rpm --rebuild on it but
something strange happens and libtool messages fly by as if it was compiling
something but gcc is never actually invoked and thus no libraries or object
files are created and therefore install barfs.

I can't figure out what is wrong with either rpm or the libmng spec file (it
looks okay). So I am stuck waiting for that kind soul.....
