Kevin,

You can use YDL Install CD's "hd-install" option
to put a custom kernel called 'vmlinux' in Open Firmware's
hd:,\\:tbxi patch (which is likely your Mac OS System Folder).

Please note that you also need to place a ramdisk from your
YDL CD's install/ folder in the System Folder as well.
