To the XFree86 packager,

        Please create this symlink!

        Please also create /etc/X11/XF86Config, or require
Xautoconfig to be installed, or inform users in some way that they
should run Xconfigurator. Currently, there's a meaningful message
from startx if there's no XF86Config (inside a bunch of other
messages), but this will be insufficient or unclear for many users.
