Hi Dan.

Is there some trick to get gdb to read the core file produced when the
server crashes? I get a bunch of messages along the lines of "Can't
fetch registers for this type of core file". If I could at least get
a trace of where things are going bad, I would pursue it further on
my own. Not that I know jack about X code, but there is always luck ;)

Also, I rebuilt the FBDev server from the srpm directly on the machine I am
trying to use it with. That didn't help matters, as you probably already
know.
