I like AbiWord as well - it's a lightweight solution. It doesn't, however,
offer the same feature set as OpenOffice.
The latest AbiWord will be on the CD, of course.

P.S. Maybe it's just me, but I tend to think of AbiWord as being provided by
the AbiWord developers, not Gnome or Ximian...
