I feel like such a dingbat here for not explaining something else
further. The reason for making those mods I point out in my previous post
is because, users cannot run MOL first because running MOL the first time
requires patching the kernel on the fly, and loading some modules. Which
only *root* can do. Making the mods I pointed out in my previous post does
all this stuff at boot time. So you dont have to log in as root to do a
starmol, wait for macos to boot, then shutdown and log back in as joe
user.

Anyway, as stated in my previous post, the mods mentioned should work
fine. Save for the SUID/mol problem, but, thats easier to deal with that
having to boot a whole 'nother OS, shut it down, log out, back in, and
then booting the OS again. I can always su root, and kill the PID.

su root is easier to deal with. I dont think anyone would disagree. =)
