I never got the time to finish it. Hopefully I will eventually.

Well, the intention is putting the MOL code in the kernel in
order to avoding any runtime patching. Unfortunately, I currently
can't boot the 2.3/2.4-test kernel due to problems with
the B&W G3's IDE controller.
