I'm using linuxppc 1999 with bootx and I have the "Linux Final" kernel
slected in bootx. after I've booted up it says I'm using kernel
2.2.6-15apmac above the log in. If I select a differnt kernel in bootx it
gives me an error about the system.map not matching, but everything still
works.

thanks
dd
