Subject: why so many mol processes after startmol?

After I start mol I see several curious things happening:
- Besides startmol, 'ps' gives six incarnations of mol,
- When MacOS is starting up, on the console I see mol exiting several times.
- Mol runs in a draggable (and iconizable) X window, and in a
separate console as well.
Is this what should happen? Thank you for any insight. Eduard.
