Hm, think this I a problem that can not be fixed easyly, AFAIK Virtual
PC shows the same effect.

Are you using XFree 4.0.1? Can not help here, my mol runs rock solid
(well sort of, get ADB-Buffer overflows irregular that locks mol
completly)

Well, this is easy:
Every sound-management is done by linux not mol.
Use the mixer to set up the volume for the internal speakers or for line
out (never used the line out)
Think there are different mixers for line out and internal speakers.

That is right, I have the same problem, sometimes mol gets the
CTRL-APPLE-FN-F7 instead of switching to VT6
Could solve this by pressing the key rapidly or switching apps in mol or
as last resort shutdown mol :-)
