I compiled the 2.2 release with /usr/src/linux pointing to 2.2.18
of Ben's tree. I normally compile with /usr/src/linux pointing
to the latest 2.4 kernel (and the 2.4 RPM is compiled this way).

The -lncurses should not be there. This is a Makefile error
(although I do not get an error, I think I had better upgrade my binutils).
