I am not sure I understand. How can I go about unlocking the startup volume. I am booting Mac OS originally from a HFS+ IDE drive that connects through one of my PCI slots. Then I use bootX to start up linux which resides on its own 2 gig hard drive. When launching MOL it sees a different OS 9 that I have placed on another 2 gig HFS drive. What do I need to unlock and how would I go about doing it?
