Hi,

I am running mol 0.9-60-4 with SuSE 7.3, kernel 2.4.12 on an PowerMacG3
stand alone.
In the molrc file I choose: netdev: eth0 -sheep

After startup of mol there is the following message:
Ethernet Interface (port 1) 'sheep-<eth0>' @ FE:FD:DE:AD:BE:EF

Under the Mac OS I configured the TCP/IP control panel to use the ETHERNET
and with the IP : 192.168.0.3. The net mask is 255.255.255.0. For the
router adress
I give 192.168.0.1. For the name server the is: 194.25.2.129, domain
name: btx.dtag.de.

Under Linux I now try to check weather there is a connection or not via
ping with
the following result.

macg3:~ # ping 192.168.0.1 ( this is the IP from the PowerMacG3)
PING 192.168.0.1 (192.168.0.1) from 192.168.0.1 : 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_seq=1 ttl=255 time=274 usec
64 bytes from 192.168.0.1: icmp_seq=2 ttl=255 time=243 usec

Next I try the connection to mol:

PING 192.168.0.3 (192.168.0.3) from 192.168.0.1 : 56(84) bytes of data.
From 192.168.0.1: icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable
From 192.168.0.1 icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable
From 192.168.0.1 icmp_seq=2 Destination Host Unreachable

Does anybody have an idea what went wrong ???

Best regards Alfred
