I've grepped through the archives, I've read almost every post that
might be relevant, but there seem to be five questions that get asked
over and over but never answered. If some kind soul would post the
answers (or pointers, if I've somehow missed them), it would be nice.
None of these prevent my running MOL (though I wonder whether they
some account for some of the weirdnesses like the need to trick the
mouse into reappearing when switching consoles or the fact that MOL
just quietly goes away sometimes), and I can generally deal with
the sound brokenness, except that it means I have to reboot into
pure MacOS to see quicktime).

1) What is

         ************ WARNING, phandle == 0 ***********
         ********* of_quiesce *********

about, and what if anything should be done about it?

2) What does

>>>> Missing RTAS function ABCDEF02 (7/3)<<<<
>>>> Missing RTAS function ABCDEF02 (7/3)<<<<
>>>> Missing RTAS function ABCDEF02 (7/3)<<<<
>>>> Missing RTAS function ABCDEF02 (7/3)<<<<

    mean, and should I care?

3) Why do I get a stack of

        mouse_read_reg, unexpected regster 2
        mouse_read_reg, unexpected regster 2
        mouse_read_reg, unexpected regster 2
        mouse_read_reg, unexpected regster 2

errors, and what do they mean?

4) What does

        <*> control - Unrecognized cscode 20

    mean?

5) Since somewhere back in the 9.50's, whenever I try to
make a sound in MacOS, I get

         Uninitialized osip vector 37

    followed by a stack of

         sound, osip_write: Not started!
         sound, osip_write: Not started!

messages that drags the system down until I either (if I'm
lucky) us the volume control strip to zero the volume or
(if I'm not) kill MOL. Sound used to work back in the
.50's somewhere. I can't recall when it first went bad.

My Mac system is 8.6 (both native and MOL), and I use BootX to load.
I'm running Debian 2.2.19, but the same problems occurred with various
2.2.18 versions as well, and with LinuxPPC/RedHat. I have the latest
mol (0.9.61) posted on Debian.

Any definitive answers gratefully appreciated!

Thanks,

...David.
