I had the same problem initially. Make sure that the /dev/sheep_net
devnode exists. (Major 10, minor 198, owner root, group root, mode 644)
Also, make sure that you specify the -sheep switch on your 'netdev:' line
in /etc/molrc (after the network device name).

Check your time zones. Make sure the time zone that you have set on the
Linux side and the time zone you have set on the MacOS side are both the
same.
