Round two in the battle royal between mol and the newbie......
I'm running a vanilla install of LinuxPPC 2000Q4, with their rpm of mol
.9.53, on a rev D 350MHz iMac. Following Vinod's kind suggestion, I
replaced my ROM image [from the install CD] with one from my MacOS
partition. Unfortunately, the only result [improvement?] is that my
formerly grey screen of death is now black. As before, the xterm
messages indicate that emulation is starting, and I do get a bong, but
that's it. If I switch to vt8, the system stops responding to
keyboard/mouse, and I have to do a power-off to recover.
Appended below is the xterm output from running startmol. If some kind
soul would be willing to point out the obvious error I've made I'd be
extremely grateful.
