Subject: MOL keyboard config and YDL

How does one go about writing a keyboard configuration file for MOL?
I've seen discussion on this list to get Linux key codes via the showkey
function, but I haven't seen how to map those to mac key codes (or even to
find out what the mac key codes are).
As a result, on my G4 Cube running YDL, I can't use the command key, the up
arrow outputs a letter "a", etc.
Any suggestions or examples would be very much appreciated.
