This sounds like your mol modules are built against the wrong kernel.

How did you build your kernel and modules?

For me:

cd /usr/src; tar xzf mol-modules.tar.gz
cd linux; make menuconfig .#...
make-kpkg kernel-image; make-kpkg modules
cd ..
dpkg -i mol-modules-2.4.19-pre8-ben0_0.9.63+10.00.Custom_powerpc.deb \
kernel-image-2.4.19-pre8-ben0_10.00.Custom_powerpc.deb

then reboot...
