I am also working with a G3 (the first generation beige desktop, that 
is) and that's indeed what I had to do as well.

There are some extensions that seem to conflict with MOL's "virtual" 
hardware.

It's been a while, but I believe the most important were the extension 
for my additional Asanté ethernet card and the extension to support a 
PCI USB card.
