No sound at all

Greetings,

I have never been able to have sound on MOL (OS 9).  I've used MOL 
for a few years now, and never had sound working.  I'm running YDL 
3.0 on a G4 MT currently, and the latest MOL.

Earlier versions of YDL have had me in similar difficulty (if you 
want to call it that).

Interestingly, a co-worker just installed Mandrake and it's MOL has sound.

Is there some trick to getting sound to work?
