Q1. Connecting mac email to linux email (sendmail etc)

Can anybody tell me the best way to share the email between linux (as the main server) and the mac (working thru mol) so that linux can be used as an email server?
Thank you.

running suse linux 7.3ppc
with MacOS9.02 (mol version was supplied on Suse CD)
I like to keep an archive of all email in Eudora (for now)
