Sam,

I'm on the XFree86 Core Team and know that this should be fixed in
the upcoming 4.3.0 release for Rage128. Radeon also suffered the same
fate.

Did you get anywhere with the logs I sent about MacOS X and it not
detecting a hard drive to install to ?
