MOL reports "File is too large. Failed to load mkext!" with MacOSX 10.3.7

Maybe this is related to the fact that my Powerbook has a 7447A
processor (and I guess a totally new set of hardware, like the USB
keyboard and trackpad) and that MOL doesn't seem to like this?  Is
there anything I can do to help to get this supported?
