MOL on Intel-macs?

Since VMWARE runs on Linux X86 for the MAC-Intel systems, wouldn't it
be to just use VMWARE or try XEN, http://www.xensource.com/ instead
for individuals that that prefer a open source software package?

BTW: VMWARE server is now free.
