Hi, I just installed YDL 2.2 on my ibook2 600 CD/RW. For your
information YDL 2.2 does NOT recognize the hard drive in ibook2 with
CD/RW. It does recognize the CD/RW though. To get YDL 2.2 to recognize
the hard drive you must add "hda=16383,16,64" at the boot prompt:
"install-gui hda=16383,16,64" Anyway, back to my problem. I got all the
packages installed. I picked home/office install, I'm starting to think
I should have gone with base. There were no errors during install. But,
for some reason yaboot didn't get installed properly. When I boot the
computer there is no option to select Mac OS X , Linux or CDROM.
Instead, I get a folder in the middle of the screen with a question mark
on top of it. Then it changes to the happy mac and boots Mac OS X. So
What's the deal? How do I get yaboot to work?
