Installing MacOS over YDL

As an addendum to my previous post:

folder off of your bootable OS install CD are all you need, a simple copy 
from CD to disk should do it. ..."

However I just remembered that the iMac will need a rom file (Mac OS ROM) 
found normally in the System Folder. It may or may not be easy to find on 
your install CD; so you might end up going through a minimal installation 
instead of a copy (if you can't find the rom file, you will have to 
install on something). Having to do an actual installation probably takes 
the Zip 100 and 250 disks out of the running; just like Linux they need 
space for temp files  even though the actual installation might fit (and 
your installer could tell you something like "requires X MB for 
installation", but it really has to be 50-100 MB bigger than that figure 
for temp space during the install itself).
