MacOSX update wiped out Yaboot?

or/ from open firmware

1	boot to open firmware ( reboot opt apple o + f )
2	type 'boot hd:9,yaboot' ( if the boot partition is hda9 )
3	/usr/sbin/ybin ( run ybin )
