More Kernel Oddities

Come to think of it, I think I can toss a $.02 in this.

Is there any reason why YDL22 would install 2.4.10 (the one with 1394 built
in as a module) on my 8600 and 2.4.18-8a on my Yosemite?

When I tried to compile the 1394 drivers into the 2.4.18-8a kernel, a few
odd things happened:

* HFS support went away, even though Xconfig says it its there.
* OHCI1394 doesnt start first, causing SBP2 and RAW1394 to choke out. Is
there someplace to force the order that stuff runs in?

Thanks,

Clint
