in yaboot you can specify which init to boot into by doing something
like this: linux init 3
where "linux" is what ever you would type to boot linux instead of
macos.
you can switch your default login by editing /etc/inittab.
change this:
id:5:initdefault:
to this:
id:3:initdefault:
