video problem with ydl 2.3 and xfree86 on powerbook g4

I just installed Yellow Dog Linux 2.3 on
a 667Mz Apple Titanium PowerBook G4 laptop computer

ATI Technologies Inc. Radeon Mobility M7 LW (rev 0).

I got a blank screen when X first started up
and I have since been able to get it sort of working
at 1280x854 by mucking about with /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.

I get 10 or 11 horizontal lines
which drift up or down the display faster or slower
depending upon the width and/or height I select
with xvidtune.

If anybody has a version of XF86Config-4
which corrects this problem,
a copy would be much appreciated.
