My other comments may not have been clear - everything else works out of
the box on my Ti PB 550 with YDL 2.2, except the PCMCIA hard drive and
built-in software (yek) modem.  

All of these work great:

1152x768 high color, stereo sound, CD/DVD, touch pad and one-button
(yek) mouse, USB external optical wheel mouse, Apple wireless NIC,
gigabit ethernet, instant sleep/wake when you close/open the lid,
buttons for brightness, sound volume, cd eject, buttons to emulate
middle and right click for the built-in one-button (yek) mouse...
