PHP won't work with MySQL: help!

not sure what your level of knowledge with php or sql is... im new to it
myself, but i do know that if you try to use php with a mysql datasbase you
have to first be sure to add the database to the user after you create it so
the database is active.

the php script also needs "authorization" to access the sql database. but
take what i say with a grain of salt, im still learning :)

what's the exact problem you're having? what's the error message (if
applicable)?
