ydl2.1, quicksilver g4/867, headphone audio out?

I have ydl2.1 installed on a G4/867 quicksilver.  Speaker audio works
ok but I can't get audio out of the headphone jack.  The only audio
devices that show up at all in aumix/gmix are volume and pcm2.  The
standard audio modules are loaded (dmasound_pmac, dmasound_core,
soundcore)

Is there any way to activate headphone-jack output? 

I'm running the standard ydl2.1 2.4.10-12a kernel and all packages are
fully yup'd.
