DVD Yet again ....

  Hi all,

I have spent weeks trying to get adequate DVD display on my Pismo 400MHz 
PowerBook, to no avail.

I have tried both Xine and Ogle. Xine misses 60..80 of every 200 frames, 
and is fairly jerky. Ogle displays approx 14 fps (out of
possible 29), so it seems they are pretty much the same. Ogle seems 
smoother though. Sound is good on both.

I have tried the usual:

1. Set DMA on my cd-rom.
2. Using Xv and Oss.
3. Turned off Altivec support.

Has anyone been successful on the Pismo? How do I check if accellerated 
Xv is being used, by the way?

I am using Xine 0.9.13 with the usual libdvdcss,libdvdnav,libdvdread and 
xine files. I could not get d4d working, throws up assembly
errors, I think that is quite old anyway.

Both Xine and Ogle compiled on my machine.

All help greatly appreciated.
